Orihuela´s Plenary Meeting turns down CLR´s suggestion to open “Social Dining Room” for families during the crisis
The CLR spokeman at the Town Hall of Orihuela, Pedro Mancebo, believes that "this service would be a great benefit to needy families in our area, who through no fault of their own, in the majority of cases due to losing their jobs and the financial crisis, find themselves living on the or, in the worst case, below the breadline”.

La Regia recreation area desperately in need of a facelift, says CLR
Pedro Mancebo, Town Councillor and spokesman of the CLR party has been contacted recently by several residents living in the La Regia area of Cabo Roig. All the calls were regarding the condition of the green area at La Regia. After receiving these calls and listening to the residents´comments Pedro thought it was a good idea to visit La Regia and actually take another look at the area for himself after he took over as a councillor in July last year.

CLR alerts against illegal nursery schools in Orihuela Costa
Councillor and spokesman of the CLR Party, Pedro Mancebo Gilabert, said he has been trying to obtain a list of all licensed kindergartens and pre-schools in Orihuela town and Orihuela Costa, only to be informed that such a list does not exist. This means that "there is no relevant information provided by the Orihuela Town Hall for any parents wishing to take their children to a fully licensed nursery school that complies with all the legal requirements and guarantees for the safety of our children".

PSOE to launch new contact point for Entre Naranjos
The PSOE opposition party is to introduce a new contact point for the residents of Entre Naranjos and Laguna Green which will open every Wednesday, starting 31 March, between the hours of 11am until 1pm. The new contact point will be inaugurated on Saturday 27 March at 11am when local residents will be invited to meet PSOE opposition councillor for Orihuela Costa, Rosa Martinez, as well as other members of the PSOE opposition party.

The PSOE proposes medical consulting rooms for Orihuela Costa
PSOE Councillor Rosa Martínez is presenting a motion in the monthly plenary to be held tomorrow at the Orihuela town hall in which she will propose the creation of medical consulting rooms in various areas of Orihuela Costa, like those established in the majority of pedanías (districts) in the municipality.
