The PSOE party in Orihuela Costa denounces that the waste is not being recycled properly

Socialist councillor Rosa Martinez and Orihuela Costa resident Agustín Gómez, denounce that the rubbish collection company does not comply with recycling regulations, since the organic waste is being mixed with other materials such as plastic and glass during collection.

Martínez claims that the refuse collection company is also failing to provide the service for pet excrement collection. This service is included in the contract that the waste collection company signed with the Town Hall.

Councillor Martínez says that the unsuitable treatment of waste on the Orihuela Costa is not an isolated practice. For his part, Agustín Gómez claims he has taken photos that prove that the waste materials are not collected separately as they should be.
