CLR councillor Pedro Mancebo welcomes Orihuela Costa residents´ suggestions

In the press bulletin below, the councillor for Orihuela opposition party Centro Liberal Renovador (CLR), Pedro Mancebo, invites residents to contact him about any issues that are important to them.

"Press Bulletin – January 2010

Residents living in Orihuela Costa spend approximately Euros 600€ on tax per annum.  Wouldn´t it be reasurring to know that your hard earned money was being put to a good use.  Even more importantly, knowing that it is being spent on things which are of a significance to you as a resident and your fellow residents living in Orihuela Costa.

There are many important issues which affect all our daily lives from health care, security including police presence, sewage, environmental issues, public transport, cleaning and maintenance of beaches and green areas – the list is endless.

Without a doubt there will be more issues we have not mentioned above and we at CLR (Centro Liberal Renovador) would like to hear about these issues – your issues!  We can only find solutions to problems and issues when we are aware of them.  You should determine how your tax money is spent.

Shortly the Plenary meeting of the Orihuela Town Hall will be discussing the General Budget for 2010, and CLR will be making several proposals on where and how to spend the money that all the citizens of Orihuela pay in taxes, bearing in mind and paying special attention to the needs of the Coast area and the Pedanías, which have been suffering for years the lack of adequate investments from the governing PP party. Schools for our children, quality health services for our residents, security to protect our properties, enough and adequate green areas, clean and tidy beaches, public transport, business opportunities for shops and entrepreneurs… all of these are the main concerns for most of our people and we would like to know your comments and take your suggestions and opinions on this.

If you personally, or as a group of residents (irrelevant of nationality) living in an urbanization, have a problem or an issue please share this with CLR. Our aim is to work together as a community.
