Auditions for The First Songwriters Contest of Torrevieja about to begin

The Association Interculturarte Iberica, a nonprofit organization with the motto "Art, Culture, Talent" has announced that the auditions for the first Songwriter Contest of Torrevieja, that will be held in February 2010, will be taking place every Sunday until the end of the January between 20:30-23:30 hours, starting on January 10th.

 
The host of this event is Murphy's On The Park Pub located on Calle San Policarpo 87, close to “Parque de las Naciones” in Torrevieja.

These are the prizes for the winners: acoustic guitar with equalizer, guitar amplifier, strings, and tuner. Besides, the show will be recorded live and with the support of the Department of Culture and Foreigners, the winners will perform in a gala at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center early in the month of April 2010.

The organizers are hoping to have an intercultural event in which the artists from Vega Baja area come together to express their art no matter their native language.
